Kelly Chen

About the artist: Kelly Chen is a Boston-based multidisciplinary artist whose research and artistic practice explores queer aesthetics in lighting design, early moving image, and musical composition. Chen completed KISS:FLY:AIR:BELT, a location-specific sculpture and performance at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, NY as part of her production residency with Rogue Car Gallery. She has also served as an Archives Fellow and Ceramics Teaching Artist at the Pine Mountain Settlement School in Bledsoe, Kentucky, working on wood fire kiln techniques and local salt glaze recipes.
