Jayna Mikolaitis

About the artist: Jayna Mikolaitis is a painter, fiber artist, and designer based in Watertown, MA. Her work employs domestic interiors, gardens, and tensions between figures and landscapes to create narrative worlds rooted in play, whimsy, and spirit. By combining absurd scale shifts and wacky perspectives, her pieces defy reason and exist in a state of constant flux. In the presence of illogicality and instability, her work ultimately searches for balance—all while celebrating joy, beauty, decoration, and craft. Jayna graduated from Boston University in 2022 with dual BFAs in Painting and Graphic Design. She is Gallery Manager at Praise Shadows Art Gallery in Brookline, MA.
