TD Garden
When the Boston Bruins made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2019, art_works worked closely with the NHL team to create a hall of portraits for current players, which became one of TD Garden's Hidden Hallways.
Industry: Sports and Entertainment
Company Partners: The Boston Bruins, The Sports Museum of New England
Services: Art Sourcing, Visitor Engagement
Goal + Impact: The Bruins wanted to find a way to engage gameday fans in an unexpected way: a mock art gallery honoring their players and playoff run. The installation demonstrated how art can activate non-traditional spaces and create memorable experiences that extend beyond typical stadium branding.
In a secondary initiative, art_works partnered with The Sports Museum of New England to revamp one of TD Garden's VIP lounges with archival photos of the Bruins' and Celtics' historic rosters. All of our initiatives with The Garden integrate the arena's marketing and innovation strategies while illustrating the value of art in unexpected settings, proving that cultural programming has a place even in sports entertainment venues.
